María is 25 years old and studied through the third grade. She is single and has a daughter who is dependent on her. Her grandmother also lives with them.

María has been raising and selling pigs for one year. She learned this trade on her own so that she could generate income to support her daughter. The animal pen is located near her house. She works every day, starting at 5:30 A.M.
