Sandra's story

Sandra lives in the municipality of Tuquerres in Nariño, in the south of Colombia, in a village called Santander de Valencia. She works making cheese and dairy products and for day wages. She has 15 years of experience making and selling cheese, it is a legacy from her grandparents and parents, who did this work all their lives.

Sandra is 36 years old, single, with 2 children aged 10 and 12 years old, who are in school.

Sandra is applying for a loan of 4,187,156 COP as working capital to purchase raw materials, namely milk, to increase her cheese production and sell it at a larger scale, have higher customer flows and deliver greater volumes to her existing customers.
