A loan helped to buy plastic, wood, feeders, chickens, and corn.

Martha's story

Martha is 58 years old. She is a single mother who knew how to raise her children through sweat and tears. She lives in a simple brick house with an Eternit roof, along with a son with whom she gets along well.

Martha has worked as a domestic worker and has also always worked raising small animals. Since she lost her job [in the Pandemic], she goes out to work for day labor, and she continues to raise free-range chickens, since she is doing well and it represents an income to cover part of the household expenses.

Her goal is to make a shed to raise free-range chickens because of their rapid growth. Martha is requesting this loan to buy plastic, wood, feeders, and of course chickens and corn, to increase the number of animals and thus be able to have more-frequent sales.

Martha does not desire greatness; she just wants to be in good health in order to work and be able to lead a decent lifestyle according to her possibilities.
