This group was mobilized in April 2008 for creating this 'banc villageois' to realize their ambitions and to improve their living conditions. The women are active in retail commerce.

Ms. Coumba, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group's official. She is 52, married, and the mother of five.

With her new loan, she intends to buy vegetables and millet and also peanuts to process into peanut butter to resell. Her earnings will be used to buy livestock and to support herself.
