Zamira's story

Beautiful Zamira sends a greeting from Kyrgyzstan. She is grateful to the Kiva Fund and lenders for the previously provided financing. She is 55 years old, married and has four children. She has a secondary education. Zamira is an active, kind, hardworking and honest woman. Zamira and her family live in a locale that is perfectly suited for breeding livestock. Zamira has been involved in agriculture for one long year and today has a cow and 30 sheep on her farm. She keeps the livestock in the yard of her own home, has the necessary conditions for keeping livestock, and as needed, fattens up and resells livestock. to continue growing her business, Zamira is requesting support from the Kiva Fund in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock in order to increase her income from the animal husbandry business. The profit from the loan would help to improve her family's financial wellbeing and improve their living conditions.
