Kulsun's story

Kulsun is sending her greetings from Kyrgyzstan. She thanks Kiva’s lenders for the financial support they provided her to purchase cattle.

She will be grateful if they give her another loan and promises to pay it back. Kulsun is asking for another loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to renovate her house to improve her living conditions.

Kulsun is a 71-year-old hardworking married woman with 6 beautiful children. The older children live separately, the younger children live with her and help take care of the house.

Kulsun is engaged in agriculture as her main economic activity. On her farm she has 50 sheep, 7 cows, 2 horses and 2.5 hectares of irrigated land. She started her business many years ago with the goal of increasing her family's income.

Kulsun intends to renovate her house and create a comfortable life for her family.
