A loan helped to buy fence posts, seedlings, compost, and fertilizers.

Jessica Maribel's story

Jessica is 24 years old and has always been characterized for her hard work and cheerfulness. She has 2 children who are ages 5 and 9. They were raised by Jessica, who is a single mother.

The home that they live in belongs to Jessica's parents who work in agriculture. Hence, Jessica adopted the trade as a way of life. She works in the cultivation of passion fruit, tangerine, and groundcherry, which grow well in the area's climate.

Jessica had two previous loans that gave her great help in starting her cultivation. Today, she is seeking a new loan to continue boosting her passion fruit crop, which requires purchasing seedlings, fence posts, compost, and fertilizers.

With this investment, she will be able to increase the production of her crop. The earnings from the increased yield will benefit her children, so that they can continue to count on Jessica for their nutrition, education, and quality health. Jessica also aspires to be able to buy her own land given that, at the moment, she plants on her parents land.
