A loan helped to buy dog and cat food, maize, animal feed, vaccines, vitamins, fertilisers and pesticides.

Margarita Esperanza's story

Margarita is 50 years old. She is a cheerful and kind person who lives alone with her husband as her children are now independent adults. Her husband works far away but when he comes back he helps her in the business and brings supplies that he can get cheaper in another city.
Margarita owns an agro-veterinary supply store where she sells animal feed, medicine and chemicals. Her business is 5 years old and has been attracting more customers, so she wants to be able to increase the stock of products in her store.

This loan will help her to buy dog and cat food, maize, feed, vaccines, vitamins, fertilisers, pesticides and other products that are highly commercialised. Margarita has a vision of future growth and aspires to open branches and purchase a vehicle so that she and her husband can work together.
