A loan helped a member to buy more maize flour, sugar, salt, rice and cooking oil.

Duhaguruke Cb Group's story

Valentine is a 32-year-old mother of four children who are between 3 and 12 years old. For the past three years she has been selling foodstuffs. Her husband is a farmer.

Valentine is the leader of the group called Duhaguruke CB, which means “Let's stand up" in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Valentine will use her loan to buy more maize flour, sugar, salt, rice and cooking oil to sell within her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children and set aside some savings.

She is thankful for your support.
