Sountéré 1 group has just finished reimbursing its first kiva loan. Payments were made at a normal rate. Djénéba, representative member, thanks all kiva staff and lenders for the support. With the loan, Djénéba was able to pay for , pagnes [traditional cloth wraps], women's lingerie, and ready-to-wear clothing to resell. She made a profit which allowed her to pay for clothes for her children, to cover some expenses for her family and above all to increase her business activity. She still needs loans to continue her business. She wants to restock a sufficient quantity of pagnes and ready-to-wear items for the satisfaction of her customers, in order to have a good turnover and grow further.
