A loan helped to buy corn and staple goods.

Maria Concepcion's story

Maria Concepcion is 65 years old. She lives with her husband and one of her grandchildren in the city of Siguatepeque in the Comayagua region.

She has made a living from selling corn tortillas and providing a corn grinding service for 15 years.

At this moment in time, she is seeking a loan with ODEF for 21,000 lempiras which she plans to invest in the purchase of corn and staple goods.

Maria is grateful for the financial support, and believes that the loan will allow her access to ingredients, making production easier and increasing her income.
