Belgica Auxiliadora's story

This is Belgica, age 48. She lives in the La Sequita sector. There she has a house where she lives happily with her three children. She is a widow and gets ahead with her children on her own. This has been very difficult, but faith and love for her children motivate her to continue fighting every day.

Belgica works in agriculture. Her principal product is rice which she has been growing for 15 years. Her objective is to have a good harvest and to have more hectares in production, to generate stable income that will permit her to pay for the education of her three children.

With this loan, Belgica will be able to buy rice flower seeds and agricultural supplies. The investment will help her to have greater rice production to sell, to obtain the income necessary for improvement of living conditions and her children's education.
