Pedro, aged 43, is single and the father of a son. For five years Pedro has been breeding sheep. In addition, he manufactures and sells bricks. He does these activities on his own plot of land near his house. He sells the sheep and the bricks at the local market and can count on a stable and loyal clientele.
Pedro applied for a loan to buy balanced feed for his sheep. He also wants to expand his brickworks activity. Therefore he thought that it was appropriate to apply for a loan of 1,500 nuevos soles from the microfinance institution Edpyme Alternativa.
