Burmakul's story

Burmakul is sending her greetings from Kyrgyzstan. She thanks Kiva’s lenders for the financial support they provided her to purchase a dairy cow.

Burmakul will be grateful if they give her another loan and promises to pay it back. She is asking them to lend her 150,000 som (KGS) to purchase building materials to renovate her house in order to improve living conditions.

Burmakul is a 65-year-old hardworking married woman, she has 3 beautiful children, all adults. As her main economic activity, she works as a teacher, also receives a pension, and is additionally engaged in agriculture raising livestock. On her farm she has 2 cows and 2 horses. Burmakul started her farm almost 19 years ago with the goal of increasing her family's income.

She intends to renovate her house and ensure a comfortable life for her family.
