Parichehra's story

Parichehra is a 28-year-old resident of the Panjakent district.

She is engaged in hand embroidery (pillowcases with embroidered patterns) and other national products. She learned this skill from her mother at a young age.

Embroidery is labour-intensive work and requires full dedication. Parichehra embroiders for herself, her family and her local clients. She is busy with embroidery most of the time.

Parichehra has applied for a loan to buy more embroidery fabrics and other sewing supplies.
