Fatai's story

Fatai is a mother of nine, and a wife of a farmer. They live at their own home, and her daughters are helping her with her handicraft business. She makes a living from making kiekie, using hibiscus, pandanus and coconut materials. In a week, they can perfect and prepare five to six large size kiekie, using different designs and materials. With this loan, Fatai is hoping to buy the raw materials needed for her business.
