Talita's story

Shown in her photo are the types of kiekie that Talita makes. She makes a living from preparing and designing kiekie such as faka-Ha'apai, a certain type of kiekie that is worn for joyful occasions. Some of the women in their village and church are using her to prepare their faka-Ha'apai. This type of kiekie is made from colorful cotton, and even hibiscus is colored and use. She is applying for this loan to buy the raw materials needed for her business. Some of her cotton is imported from overseas.
