A loan helped to buy blouses, t-shirts, pants, shorts, underwear, and brassieres.

Karen Dayana's story

Karen is an enterprising young woman of 22 years of age. She is in a common-law relationship and is the mother of a baby of almost one year of age. She lives in the community of San Andrés de Picoaza, where she has her own house.

Karen was barely able to finish primary school, but her way with words has allowed her to get along in the business of selling clothing and other items. She has plans to begin new businesses for which she is gathering capital.

Meanwhile, she wants to boost her clothing sales. She is applying for a loan to buy blouses, t-shirts, pants, shorts, underwear, and brassieres. This investment will help her to take advantage of the celebrations in the sector, when sales are good.

Her vision for the future consists of having a place where she can set up a clothing store and thus not have to walk through the streets.

As a result of all her effort, she aspires to keep improving the infrastructure of her home.
