A loan helped to buy fabrics and colored thread to expand her sewing business.

Dilbar's story

The 22-year-old Dilbar is a married mother of two whose husband drives a fixed-route taxi. Many who live in her district are farmers, but Dilbar chose to sew because she has always delighted in that line of work and in the beauty of traditional Tajik dresses. She also does traditional popur embroidery, which is in high demand. Dilbar is a consummate professional.

She wants to increase her daily income and improve her family's living conditions. To do that, she has to buy colored thread and monochrome fabrics, but she lacks the money for this and so has decided to apply for a loan. Dilbar has a lot of orders on hand, because the spring celebrations are just ahead. She is relying on your understanding.
