A loan helped to buy a polisher, rotary hammer, two wheelbarrows and a cordless drill to improve his work.

Oscar Alexander's story

Oscar, 31, has a third grade education, is in a relationship and his partner is a homemaker. He has a son who is not in school yet.

For 10 years Oscar has worked as a bricklayer which he learned about from a friend. His schedule is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and he walks five kilometres to work. He only does this work now; before he was a bus conductor.

Oscar will use the loan to buy a polisher, rotary hammer, two wheelbarrows and a cordless drill for his work.

He dreams of having a construction business so he can carry out larger jobs and improve his family's quality of life.
