A loan helped a member to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers.

Abisunganye Gasizi Agric Sub Grp D Group's story

Damascene, 46, is father of five children, aged between 1 and 23. His wife is a farmer, and for the past 26 years has been growing Irish potatoes. Damascene is the leader of the group named Abisunganye Gasizi Agric Sub Grp D, which in English means "togetherness". All of the group members are Irish potato growers.

Damascene will use his loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers to use in his Irish potato farm. He will then sell his harvests at the marketplace to meet customer demand. With the profits from his sales, he hopes to be able to expand land for agriculture of Irish potatoes and be able to increase savings.

Damascene is thankful for your support.
