A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business.

Henatasi's story

Henatasi is a mother of six, and the wife of a farmer. She makes a living through weaving. Henatas is a sole weaver, who spends her time weaving on her own at home. She weaves taovala (traditional garment), mats, and fihu (traditional mats), using both white and brown pandanus.

When Henatasi's products are ready, she sells them to local random buyers, and overseas customers, whom she has been working with for years.

Her business income is a major contribution to improving and covering the needs of her family. This loan will enable Henatas to buy sufficient pandanus for her weaving.
