A loan helped to purchase cattle and increase her livestock-rearing income.

Kenzhekul's story

This sweet woman is Kenzhekul. She is 48 years old, is married, and, together with her husband, has three children. College-educated, she is energetic, hardworking, and honest by nature. Kenzhekul and her family live in an area that is eminently well suited to livestock breeding.

Kenzhekul has been farming since 2001, and her farm presently consists of nine cows. The animals are kept in close proximity to her home, where all the necessary conditions are in place to maintain livestock. They are fattened and sold as the need arises.

In order to develop her farm, Kenzhekul is seeking support from Kiva in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy the cattle that will increase her livestock-rearing income. That income will help improve her family's material situation and living conditions.
