Lolakhon's story

Lolakhon, who sends greetings from Kyrgyzstan, thanks Kiva's lenders for the financial support she received earlier to buy a dairy cow. She will now be grateful to be granted another loan, this one in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS), to buy building materials for partial home repairs. Her goal in this is to improve her living conditions.

Lolakhon is a hardworking married woman with grown children who are all out on their own. She is a farmer whose main economic activity involves increasing her livestock headcount. Her assets consist of four sheep and a 0.56-hectare plot on which she grows garlic. She launched her farm quite a few years ago, her goal at the time being to increase the family income.

Lolakhon is determined to renovate her home and make a comfortable life for her family.
