A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her income from livestock breeding.

Turabubu's story

This lovely woman, Turabubu, thanks Kiva and all the lenders for the funding she received. She is successfully paying off her previous loan.

Turabubu is 56 years old and widowed, with 2 wonderful children. Turabubu's children actively help their mom around the farm and with taking care of the livestock. Currently, her farm has 2 cows, 1 horse, and 20 sheep, as well as a 1.75-ha land plot, where she grows beans. The livestock is kept by their home, where they have all the necessary conditions for keeping it.

In order to further grow her farm, she has again applied for a loan of 150,000 soms (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank, in order to buy livestock. The income from the loan will help increase their farm's output and therefore their income. Turabubu hopes to achieve the result she desires and create a better life for her wonderful children.
