A loan helped to buy seeds, an irrigation system, and agricultural inputs.

Andy Ismael's story

This is Andy, who is 25 years old, unmarried, and lives with his parents in the community of Carmen. He is a young man who has always been looking to progress together with his parents and be able to restart their efforts, and more so nowadays since the permanent employee situation in his country is complicated.

This has led Andy to undertake the business that he inherited from his parents, which is cocoa plant cultivation. He has already had more than 12 years of experience in this work because he has been going out to work the land with his father ever since he was a child.

Andy’s goal in the future is to have his own house on a cocoa-producing farm, renowned in the area. To do this, he has been focused on working arduously, and he is requesting a loan to buy seeds, an irrigation system, and agricultural inputs. In this way, he aims to grow enough to get him more profit little by little.
