A loan helped to pay for agricultural inputs and seeds.

Lourdes Maritza's story

This is Lourdes, a 53-year-old rural woman. She is in a civil union with the father of her children. Together they have their own house located in the Triunfo sector. Here they both work to support their home. Lourdes' partner works on a public transport bus and she works growing cocoa crops.

Lourdes has a big dream. With help and faith in God, she knows that she will be able to have a cocoa farm and an industrial dryer where everyone in her family will work with her and thus get ahead. To start fulfilling this dream, she just needs a loan to buy agricultural inputs and seeds to plant more cocoa plants. In this way she expects a greater production of cocoa which she will sell at a good price, which will give her the opportunity to save for her dream.
