A loan helped to expand his transport business by buying another motorcycle.

Jared's story

Jared is 27 years old, single, and supports his brothers by paying their school fees. His business is motorcycle transport and he enjoys carrying clients from one place to another and the profits that he earns from his work. He is seeking a loan to boost his business to the next level.

The loan Jared is seeking will be used to buy a new motorbike. He has more clients that he can serve, and his old motorbike has issues which makes it difficult to help all of them. This loan will help him get a new motorbike and he will use the profits from that to buy spare parts to buy another motorbike. This will increase his income and contribute to the community because he will employ someone to help run his second motorbike and transport clients to different destinations.

Jared used his previous loans to buy a motorbike and repaid the loan on time. His dream for the future is to own more motorbikes and earn more income. He hopes to share a brighter future with his family and his future children. With the help of a ECLOF Kenya loan he will be able to achieve those dreams. Lastly, he urges people across the world to repay their loans on time and to bring more people to ECLOF Kenya.

This loan is special because:

It gives financial access to low income micro-entrepreneurs.
