Suiyumkan's story

Suiyumkan is grateful to the Kiva Foundation and all the lenders for the funding she has received in the past. Suiyumkan has now decided to apply for funding again and hopes for a positive outcome.

Suiyumkan is 68 years old, married, mother of 7 children. She has a secondary education. She has been livestock and field farming as the main income for her family for 48 years. Thanks to her persistent labor she currently has 90 sheep on her farm.

To further develop her business Suiyumkan again applied to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 Soms (KGS) to buy fodder and hay for her livestock in order to increase the income from the livestock farming.

The income from the loan will help improve her family's livelihood and expand the farm.
