A loan helped to purchase more cows.

Zhazykbay's story

Zhazykbay, 64, lives in the village of Algabas and is engaged in livestock farming, while his wife sells dairy products such as milk and ayran, supplying local stores and the market nearby.

Married with three children, Zhazykbay has been in livestock farming for over a decade. Initially, he faced challenges with winter feed shortages and livestock diseases, but these obstacles are now behind him. With his extensive experience, Zhazykbay has become proficient in his field.

The funds he received from the agricultural support program were used to purchase three dairy cows of milk-meat breed. A loan of KZT 1,500,000 will help him to purchase more cows. With the new ones, he will increase his milk production to 25-30 liters per day. Despite competition, Zhazykbay stands out by selling high-fat milk products, free from foreign odors and chemical additives.

Zhazykbay’s ten-year-old son is a big help in the family business. He attends school in the morning and takes care of the livestock after classes, particularly enjoying tending to the calves. He dreams of building his business and contributing to the family’s farm.
