A loan helped a member to buy sheep and goats for resale.

Avec Haldi Foty Group's story

Madam Aminata is a dynamic married woman. She is pictured above holding the card. Despite not being literate, she is the president of the Avec Haldy Foty group, whose name signifies "Agreement" in Fulani.

A very enterprising woman, she has worked with livestock for over a decade. Aminata is 38 years old and the mother of three biological children (11 and 7- year old daughters and a son of 5). Additionally, she has two other daughters aged 5 and 6. All of her children attend school.

Aminata plans to use her portion of this loan to purchase different breeds of goats and sheep. She often buys her herd from home and in the weekly markets.

The main difficulties her business faces are the resurgence of bush fires, and disease and theft of her herd.

The income from her activity allows Aminata to repay her loans without difficulty and cover her family's expenses for food, healthcare, and tuition.

Aminata's goal is to enlarge her herd and increase her credit in order to optimize her income.

In this group: Aminata, Tiguida, Malado, Marla, Kadidia, Aminata, Adama, Aissatou Kikala, Alarba, Hary, Fatoumata, Labo, Djiba, Fanta, Fatou, Adama
