A loan helped to buy corn, lime, corn flour, and firewood to prepare and sell tortillas.

Evelyn Dayana's story

Evelyn Dayana, 25, lives in a common-law marriage with her husband and two children. She lives with her family in the municipality of Comayagua.

She makes a living selling corn tortillas that she prepares in her house. She has had this business for five years. Previously, she used to work offering laundry services.

Currently, she is requesting an 18,000 HNL loan from ODEF to invest in buying corn, lime, corn flour, and firewood to prepare and sell tortillas.

She is grateful for the financial support she receives. She thinks the loan will help her invest in ingredients, facilitate the production, and increase her income.
