A loan helped a member to buy peanut seed and fertilizer.

05-Aida Group's story

This group of women has been in existence since June, 2021. They live in the same locality and share very strong bonds of kinship and solidarity. Their primary business has been farming for 3 years.

AIDA, who has her hand raised in the photo, is 36 years old, married, and the mother of 3 children, including 1 girl. She is engaged in farming. With this loan she plans to buy 4 sacks of peanut inputs and 6 sacks of fertilizer for her crop. After the harvest she will resell her produce at the local market for a good price in the hopes of getting a better return.

With her profits she plans to strengthen her savings and help her husband with the family's needs (food, care, and their children's education).

In this group: Aida , Aida, Ndeye, Fatou, Awa, Coumba, Aissa, Khadidiatou, Sire
