A loan helped to buy an electric motorcycle because he needs to make deliveries of orders.

Nick's story

Nick is a 25-year-old man. He lives with his family in the city of Ibarra, province of Imbabura. It is an area that is well known for its trade, cuisine, and tourism economy.

Nick started working as a taxi driver 2 years ago. He delivers things people order and provides transportation for people. This activity has allowed him to obtain income to cover his personal expenses and contribute to his home.

Nick is asking for a loan to buy an electric motorcycle because he needs to make the deliveries of the orders. The means of transportation that he has is difficult for getting around in due to the terrible traffic at rush hour. He hopes to be able to make more deliveries and have a good profit margin.

Nick is grateful for the help provided by Kiva, because the income he is going to generate will help to improve his standard of living.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Ellen Donohue.
