Francisco's story

Francisco, 40, is married and has three children. He lives with his family in the town of Sulaco in the department of Yoro. He grows and sells basic grains such as beans and corn, and has been in business for 19 years. He used to work as a day laborer.

He is applying for a loan in the amount of 20,000 HNL through ODEF to buy fertilizers and pesticides to care for his crops. His plan is to produce an improved crop to at a better market price.

He also has a goal of improving the economic stability of his family to cover their needs.
