A loan helped a member to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizer.

Terimbere Muhinzi Kinigi Agric Group's story

Jean Pierre is a 58-year-old father of eight children between the ages of 14 and 32 years old. His wife is a farmer and, for the past 30 years, he has been growing Irish potatoes.

Jean Pierre is the leader of the Terimbere muhinzi kinigi Agric group, which in English means "Let's Develop." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.

Jean Pierre will use his loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizer to use in his Irish potato farm. He will then sell his harvests at the marketplace to meet customer demand. With the profits from his sales he hopes to be able to purchase livestock and piece of land.

Jean Pierre is thankful for your support.
