A loan helped to buy edible oil, sugar, noodles and toiletries.

Kathleen Jean's story

Kathleen Jean has managed a sari-sari (variety) store for three years. In front of her house, she sold various commodities ranging from noodles, canned goods, soft drinks, sugar, eggs, soap and beverages. In addition, she also sold frozen goods, as supplemental income. Her husband's occupation is a construction worker.

To cope with demand, and also roll-out her capital, she has decided to avail a loan.

She will use it to buy edible oil, sugar, noodles and toiletries.

With the help of this loan, she could restock the inventory in her shop and improve her daily income.

She is doing her best to continue manage her current project to become more sustainable in the future.
