A loan helped to buy farm supplies to strengthen her corn crop.

Vanessa's story

Vanessa, 20, is single and has no children. She lives with her parents; her mother is a dairy farmer and her father makes bricks and sells construction materials.

Vanessa is applying for a loan in the amount of 3,088,000 COP to buy farm supplies to strengthen her corn crop and produce better quality.

She has production and commercial experience with corn thanks to the teachings of her grandparents and parents who worked in this trade. She has over five years' experience in farm work raising livestock, and in production, trade and agriculture. On her own she sells her products and delivers them to different customers, associations and livestock trade fairs as well as to merchants at different markets.
