A loan helped to buy two dairy cows.

Silvia Janneth's story

This is Silvia. She is 24 years old. She is happily married to a humble rural man with whom she has a child who is her adoration.

They own their own home, and it is located in the rural community of Palmira. She, together with her husband, work in cattle raising and agricultural activities that they learned in their respective homes when they were young.

Their cattle are pastured on a relative's land while the land with their crops is on a nearby parcel that they rent.
,
She is seeking to obtain a loan from the Kiva organization to increase the number of dairy cows and thus improve the production of milk, which will augment their weekly income.

In the future, Silvia would like to acquire her own house and land big enough to farm. Additionally, this couple aspires to have financial stability that will permit them to provide a good life to their child.
