A loan helped to buy tables, chairs, utensils, an industrial kitchen and kitchen linens.

Maria Fermina's story

María is 44 years old. She lives in a family home of mixed construction, made with wood and cement, with her three children. She is both mother and father for them. She works tirelessly to ensure that they never lack anything. María’s livelihood is made from selling traditional prepared foods from her ethnic background in a food stand located near the city’s bus station. María seeks to improve her stand by acquiring tables, chairs, utensils, an industrial kitchen and kitchen linens. This will allow her to offer a better service to her customers and greater comfort. María’s goal is to have her own home and provide her children with a university education so they can become great professionals.
