A loan helped to buy agricultural supplies.

Juan Carlos's story

Juan is a charismatic and honorable young man. He is from the community of La Estrellita. He lives with his wife and six-year-old child in a small house that his father has lent him. It is alongside a plot of land where he has planted potato seeds.

Juan works hard to maintain his crops disease and pest-free, following the advice his father has given him from an early age. Juan is the sole provider in his household, as his wife works in the home and takes their little one to school.

He works tirelessly in the field to achieve his goals for the future, which include having his own house and a small farm, as well as educating his child to become a great professional. He goes out as a day laborer, and works the land and his crop.

He is currently seeking his first loan, to buy the agricultural supplies he needs for top, high-quality production, which in turn will generate more income for his household.
