A loan helped to buy jellies, gum, bonbons, cookies, chocolates, and snacks.

Monica Alexandra's story

Mónica is a 40-year-old single mother. She lives in a rented house and hasn't had the opportunity to study, even in primary school. She has always worked as she can, and eight years ago she started to sell candy as a street vendor. She travels to the busiest fairs and parks to make her sales.

Mónica hopes to have the opportunity to have a loan in order to be able to strengthen her business. She needs capital in order to acquire products like jellies, gum, bonbons, cookies, chocolates, and snacks. This will help her to have more candy so her customers have more variety to choose from.

Mónica is a humble woman who seeks a way to be able to generate good living conditions for herself and her daughter who is studying thanks to the efforts of her mother.
