A loan helped to buy more cereals.

Parakuo's story

Parakuo is a 61-year-old cereal vendor residing in Narok, Kenya. She supports her family, including her two children, Vivian (age 6) and Reuben (age 2), who depend on her for their livelihood. Parakuo is dedicated to her business, finding joy in the profits generated from selling cereals. Her primary challenge is maintaining adequate stock levels to meet demand. Therefore, she seeks a loan of 100,000 Kenyan Shillings to expand her inventory.

Parakuo plans to reinvest the profits back into her business to ensure its sustainability and provide for her family's needs, particularly education for her children. Her business also contributes to the local community by providing employment opportunities to locals who assist in transporting cereals from suppliers. Through this venture, she not only supports her family, but also fosters economic growth within her community.

Previously, Parakuo successfully repaid a 50,000 Kenyan Shilling loan from ECLOF Kenya, which was utilized to purchase stock. Her hopes and dreams for the future revolve around providing a better life for her children, through education and securing their future. She believes that with continued support, she can achieve these goals and contribute positively to her community.

Parakuo encourages others to consider ECLOF Kenya for their financial needs, emphasizing the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities alike.
