A loan helped a member to buy garments of all kinds for sale.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The committee called Mujeres Unidas [Women United] is so named because they are all women who help each other to fight for a better quality of life for their families. They are also part of the poverty elimination programme, fighting together for a better quality of life.

One of the group who stands out is Maria Dolores, the president of the committee. She is married and has three young children, for whom she fights to help them to get ahead, to give them better living conditions, so that they do not suffer from needs or deprivation.

She sells all kinds of products, specifically clothing and footwear, and through her work she generates the livelihood for her loved ones, so that they do not lack anything.

She has applied for this loan to buy clothes to be able to stock up, and with this to be able to continue with her sales as she has been doing.
