Steveen Manuel's story

Steveen Manuel and his family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place known for its handicrafts which are valued around the country.

He is a hardworking young man who tries to earn an income to forge a better future and help his family get ahead. He works raising pigs and does so until they are at an adequate weight to then sell to vendors who come to the area. He also sells fruits and vegetables on the weekends at a market in Manta, where he has many customers who buy from him because he has fresh products at very good prices. He is able to continue this way, because of the loans that help him a lot and for this he is grateful to those who help him.

This loan is to buy onions, potatoes, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, apples and grapes for food and medicine for the pigs.
