Diana Monserrate's story

Diana Monserrate is 45 years old. She is in a common-law relationship and has 3 children who are 19, 18 and 15 years old, who are in school. Her partner is a skilled builder. They live in their own house. They live in the city of Portoviejo, which was affected by an earthquake on 16 April 2016. The city is rich in the production of vegetables and tropical fruits for the domestic market. In order to contribute to the household income, Diana Monserrate works in her free time selling clothing for men, women and children, sets of bedsheets and eiderdowns. She visits her customers, going door to door, and in her house she has a space with a lot of merchandise so her customers can choose what they need. Her customers buy on credit and she collects weekly payments. This loan is to buy T-shirts, trousers, outfits for children, dressing gowns, sets of bedsheets and eiderdowns etc. Her dream to make a lot of sales and for her family to be in good health.
