A loan helped to buy two containers of seeds, compost, and disinfectants.

Evelyn Cristina's story

Evelyn, age 22, is a young rural woman with a secondary education. She lives with her mother in the neighborhood of Izacata. After finishing high school, she began working in order to generate income to help her mother with the household expenses.

Evelyn is focused on cultivating onions. She has established customers who buy her product. Evelyn wants to expand her planting, so she is requesting a loan to buy two containers of seeds, compost, and disinfectants. Her goal is to earn enough capital to buy a vehicle for transporting onions to sell so that she can avoid renting a truck.

Evelyn is a woman with vision who is willing to work hard in order to achieve a better quality of life for herself and her daughter. Her plans include studying agronomy and building a house on the land that was given to her by her mother.
