A loan helped a member to buy sheep and goats to resell.

Groupe Diokore Soutouba's story

Mrs. DIEKY at fifty-two years old is the president of the group "GROUPE DIOKORE SOUTOUBA" which means "ENTENTE de SOUTOUBA". She has been active in the field of sheep and goat breeding for twenty years. She is married and has two children in school aged 2 and 10 years old. She lives in TAMBACOUNDA, a region of Senegal where she practices her activity just like the other members of the group.

Mrs. DIEKY didn't go to school. She is a hard-working woman who dreams of expanding her herd in order to increase the estimated profit of one hundred and fifty thousand francs after each sale/cycle.

She buys the animals at the weekly markets. Then, after having taken good care of her sheep, she sells them on the street in the markets at a good price. As a result, she is able to satisfy her needs.

Mrs. DIEKY is asking for a loan to buy sheep. She sometimes faces cattle rustling and diseases that can be obstacles to achieving her goals.

In this group: Dieky, Awa, Fatoumata, Fatoumata, Houleymatou, Oury, Mariama, Oumou, Ramatoulaye, Diabou, Kadidiatou, Diamilatou, Diouma, Doude
