Aya's story

Aya is 27, is married, and has 3 kids in different levels of education. She lives in a rural community in upper Egypt.

She aspired to have her own income to be an independent woman before she got married. So, she began training with TADE. This training helped her to raise poultry.

After she completed the training, she asked for a loan from Kiva to start her project, which is poultry and its feed. This loan helped her to start the project and helped her kids to have a better life and good education.

She wants to continue her success and expand her project. So, she asks for a loan to buy more chicks, ducks, and other poultry, to benefit from their products and sell them to the markets in her village.

The profit of this project will help her to provide her family with the basic needs of living including food, clothes, and education, to help her husband with their living expenses.
