A loan helped to buy fertilizers for her cassava crops.

Norma Isabel's story

Norma is a person who is dedicated to her work. She has worked growing cassava for a number of years, and has had success in the production of her crops.

She wants to continue moving forward with her family. She wants to invest in the required maintenance of her production through the purchase of KCI fertilizers, urea, and formula 12-24-12. She will also pay for labor associated with her crops.

One of the advantages of her business is that she farms on land she owns. This allows her to be able to provide better maintenance to her crops.

Norma hopes to make her harvest increase on a large scale, so that she can continue increasing her production as well as her earnings. She is grateful to Kiva for providing her this opportunity, and hopes that it is favorable.

June, 2024.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
